The Other Art Fair showcased diversity and creativity from well-known as well as up and coming artists. Arribar! was working in partnership with Meantime to serve beers from an industrial style fully functional pop up bar over the four day period. As well as serving drinks it was a chance to market Arribar! and Meantime to exhibitors hoping to set up exhibitions around the world. Guests had the chance to taste a variety of the Meantime creations, such as the London Larger, London Pale Ale and the Yakima Red. The event now moves on to its next home in Bristol, Before the long trip to Sydney in September!

Not only have we just spent a weekend at Reading Pride festival, We also worked with partners Meantime Brewing at the Rock the Farm festival, based at the Chase distillery in Hereford. Our Half Pint truck rolled up at the festival to supply punters with a variety of different drinks, and exclusively, the brand new drink from the Meantime and Chase Partnership, The Botanical Beer!, a beer drink that replaces essential hops with gin botanicals. We also had a chance to enjoy the Chase Challenge Cup! A group of mixologists were given a chance to showcase their cocktails, with the rule of having to include 50ml of either Chase Vodka or Williams Chase Gin. This was one of the main events of the festival, and we can see why! The mixologists knowledge and skill really was a show for everyone to enjoy! This years winner, Ben Hill, created the Elegant Twist Cocktail, which can be found on our twitter @Arribarbars !
One weekend, Kings Meadow Park is a car park for one of the nations biggest music festival, The following week, Its a festival itself, as Reading pride prepared to entertain the LGBT communities of Reading. Thousands of people descended on the park to enjoy entertainment from an array of artists, including X-Factor’s Sam Callahan and Amanda Wilson. There was something for everyone to enjoy, from the fun fair to the Karaoke! (We must say, some of you sounded alot better after a few beers!). Again, Arribar! are proud to have worked with yet another fantastic pride event in the UK, and Reading was a great way to bring an end to our pride festival season! How about we see you all next year at a few of them?
Arribar! Also descended on Battersea Park this weekend with the help of Riggs to showcase a variety of cocktails to the food and drink loving population of central London. With a variety of stalls from Churros to Jerk Chicken, Riggs endeavoured to show people from all walks of life, the different mixes that we can create with this unique spirit. The favourite of the weekend, The classic Riggs Mojito! The weekend was slightly interrupted with a sudden torrential shower, but nothing could stop the team playing “Why does it always rain on me?” at full volume to keep the crowd happy! With Trigger happy in one hand, and Vietnamese noodles in another, Foodies did not disappoint!
This weekend saw Arribar! work with Eager juices to bring along our unique smoothie bar. With around 5000 people, we didn’t stop making smoothies with the kids of the festival! Bounce is a festival which was established to combat the long summer holidays, and give kids a fun packed day out, something it defiantly delivered! As well as the Eager bar creating healthy smoothies for children, we also set up one of our Riggs Bars, to showcase the variety of cocktails that we can make with the amazing spirit that is Riggs! A few of the kids even made their own drinks including the Toby Tizer and Baileys Berry Bonanza. With a variety of weather, and Sheep shearing next to us every hour, Bounce was not to be missed!
What’s Dogfest I hear you say? DogFest was produced by Brand Events Ltd who put on a number of large trade shows across the UK. Dogfest was a pilot scheme to decide whether to make it a bi-annual event from 2015. Dogfest was a brand new family friendly festival which was held within the beautiful grounds at Loseley Park.
Dogfest aimed to celebrate the four legged friends in our lives and definitely did not disappoint! Arribar! were onsite to provide a rustic outdoor bar serving soft drinks, cider, beer, wine and Pimms, working alongside with our sister company Tapenade Cuisine who were providing the tasty treats on offer for the humans.
We could not have asked for better weather – the sun shone all day and everyone had a glorious time. Surrounding our bar area there were picnic benches and scattered picnic blankets and hay bales to relax on, as well as trees for the dogs to shelter under. Everyone took this perfect opportunity to enjoy a nice glass of Pimms!
We think our team enjoyed the day more than the festival goers – with such a wide variety of dog breeds from large to small, the staff were very easily distracted!
We hope you all enjoyed Dogfest as much as we did, and we look forward to hopefully seeing all our new two and four legged friends next year!
